Doraemon,here we come!

As promised in earlier post, Shean and Soo promises to take readers for a ride to the future to meet and greet the future robotic cat, Doraemon, which Soo adores. The meet and greet session took place in the Mines wonderland and both the girls had a wonderful time greeting her favourite cat of all time. A proof of purchase is compulsory for an opportunity to take photos wt the robotic cat. Well of course, the cute ladies managed to dodge that, thanks to knowledge of Soo for how she adores the cat itself. The MC was challenged wt 4 questions in exchange for a special pass to meet doraemon himself. Many may not know these common facts about doraemon, but Soo is willing to share them with readers here.

Doraemon is a cat-like robot from the 22nd century of the future. His favorite food is dorayaki, a sweet bean paste filled bun, and his birthday is 2112-9-3 he is also know by the name "Ding-dong". He weighs 129.3 kg, is 129.3 cm tall, can leap 129.3 cm in the air and can run 129.3 km per hour. He is afraid of mice and hates rats, his ears were eaten off by rats. He has a fourth-dimensional pocket on his abdomen from which he can take out many amazing tools. If readers ever have a chance to meet and greet the robotic cat, we strongly recommend doing so. For the first time, Soo felt really happy to finally meet Doraemon, even if it is only for a short while. Soo thank Shean for the company, but whatever it is…, you girls should not skip work for that. The girls would be dead if their bosses reads this blog….Lets keep our fingers cross eh?

The girls also meet some interesting people during the fan meeting session. Shout out to the new friends and lets countdown to the birth of the future robotic cat. yay!!

Road trip to Batu Pahat NS camp

As promised since ages ago, readers must have already been longing to know if Shean and Soo traveling down south to visit Drama Leow ( Soo’s best friend’s misfortunate younger sister) whom is currently the wirawati of our nation. However, I regret to be posting this without the participation of Shean in this outing. That’s right, poor Soo had to go alone, with Nelson. But since this post has been pending ever since promised, I’ll still post this as readers may be interested to know a little, if they ever ‘eat full rice, nothing to do’ and decides to visit one of our NS camps.

First and foremost, please don’t ever step into the perimeter with shorts. The scenario would be like a spaceship landing on earth. Because of that, Nelson (introduced in the third post in this blog) and Soo had to drive 12 km to Kluang parkson grand to buy long pants. And guess what, readers please bring enough cash if you all ever decide to shop in that mall. They don’t accept credit card one alright….like hello??? Poor Nelson had to run all the way to one of the nearby bank to make withdrawal lor…

Bought KFC for Drama as well, and in exchange to that, we get to try the meals served in NS camps. Apparently, meals in NS cost approximately RM 60 per pax. But it was really not that bad. Many may think that NS would be a horrible experience, but in actual fact- it’s more like a blessing in disguise. Soo feels that Drama will definitely get herself tuned to the camp soon. (add oil la drama!)

Note: special dedication to Drama Leow Kim Lee.

contribution to the society

Hello readers! greetings everyone. To those waiting very eagerly for the one day trip to Batu Pahat, real sorry to inform you all, that will most likely be the next post. I know…but trust me; the girls are not con man. So Batu Pahat trip would be up next and that is a promised. Before that, let’s put our hands together for Shean for she has done something which makes Soo super proud to be announcing to anyone. Well, what we may suggest readers this time: if you happen to run out of ideas to what to do in life, that would be a great time to start looking out for campaigns run by the national blood bank. Make some contribution to mankind. Soo honestly feels that most of us contribute nothing to mankind in almost the whole of our lifespan. Of course, being part of the country population is not considered as contributions alrite?

For the first time, Shean and Soo attended blood donation held at Subang holiday villa on the 16th January 2010. Well, it wasn’t exactly the first time for the both to be attending campaigns like that. But it was indeed the first time for the both to be attending one of those events together. Shean donated her AB blood while Soo kept her companied. Shean donated 450 ml (big pack k!) and she was really brave as she did not complain about the pain. I hereby would like to take an opportunity to shout out to all readers “start donating blood as the national blood bank is currently facing shortage of blood”.

The girls also managed to tour around the hotel. Look at the pics, Soo loves the Victorian deco which was located near the pool. Lovely place for photo shots.

Up next: For real, the girls would definitely post their road trip for the first time to Batu Pahat NS camp.

lining up for 7 hours to purchase an item..semangatnya!!

Oops, looks like there is another post before the Batu Pahat. Readers will have to wait a little for that as it is scheduled on the 17th of January 10. So for this ‘first time’ blog for this time around, Shean and Soo has just experienced the craziest, most dreadful whole of 7 long hours lining up right outside La Bodega in pavilion for the launch of the latest blackberry bold 9700 on 15th January 10. This was definitely a first time experience for both of them as they have never ever tried going to THAT extreme of lining up to perform purchasing for 7 hours.(Though Soo tried lining up for Mcdonald’s bear toy many many years ago) (She kinda gave up after 10 minutes ). However, it was a good deal this time around and it was worth all the hard work, time and effort. Apparently there were only 150 devices for the first 150 customers. But the crowd was really crazy, celcom then decided that everyone gets to purchase it.

Both our ladies started lining up at 5pm, and they practically ended the day at about 11pm. Readers who are really bored can try doing this but I really do not recommend this although the girls felt great about their experiences there. Its not quite the same for them, as the event they were lining up for took place in La Bodega. And that means good food. Finger bits were served every now and then by the waiter and waitresses there. They were also very generous with their soft drinks. And shame on those who threw their ‘sticks’ on the floor after being served such lovely snacks. But now the girls definitely understood how those people feel when lining up to grab whole of something they wanted really, really badly. I mean, imagine being in a queue for about 5 hours or so, only to come to learn that the dude right in front of you has purchased the last of whatever item you have lined up for. #&^%# Now that would be a bad sight. Throughout the whole waiting patiently in the line, the both were really anxious as they were really worried that'll happen. But, they were really lucky to be able to achieve what their heart desires at that point of the time. They managed to be part of the first batch of celcom customers with bold 2.Well, since they lined up from ever since the sun has yet to set, till when they are able to be counting stars, they did not forget to take a few pictures to share with readers. Pavilion has beautiful outdoor deco for upcoming Chinese new year celebration and as posted here, the flowers are of course not real but still looking lively. Soo would like to take this opportunity to thank Shean for her time. And, it was indeed great to be experiencing the satisfaction when it’s your turn up next while you are lining up. Lol!

Peace out for this time, and I’ll like to remind readers to not try this crazy thought of lining up for any purchasing just for the sake of experiencing how it would have been like. Cause that is seriously to my opinion, suicide. Of course unless it's something you have had strong desires for a long time. Then by all means go ahead. If not , this would be one thing non of the readers should even consider to try doing it. Quoted by Shean all the time''Don't try to be funny". Until next time then, have a great day.
Ps: look for shean in the line!

After the great achievements, the girls never forgets to indulge themselves with good food from SS15 Asia Cafe. The girls manages to whack almost 80% of the food they've ordered. LOL

Up next: For real, its gonna be the one day road trip to Batu Pahat for the first time! readers do look out for that !

Pasar Malam Together For The First Time!!

On the 14th of January 2010, Soo and Shean have done it again. This time around, Soo skips her class just to go all the way to Sri Rampai with Shean to jalan jalan cari makan at the Thursday pasar malam in Sri Rampai. For the first time, the two have visited a pasar malam, not just any pasar malam, but a rather huge one I would say. The honorable guest for the day is Teck Ling, and thanks to her, Soo has an extra wrinkle on her face. There isn’t a minute during the whole ‘walking’ without laughter. Why? Simply because, Teck Ling was just too funny for her to not laugh about every, and anything she said. Not to mention how Teck Ling manages to finish the whole plate of stinking tofu. Trust me, it really stinks. They all had so much food and they definitely would recommend readers to try visiting that pasar malam. Soo manage to find doraemon pancake too! Check out the pictures for more food in Sri Rampai pasar malam.

Readers may, or probably already recognise Shean and Soo, therefore the extra one, is definitely our guest of honour lor..^^

Silly willy!!!

Almost everyone has done this for at least once in their life. Some readers must have tried doing this. So it doesn’t really matter how many times you’ve done it, it’s more of who you did it with. For the first time, Shean and Soo have done it. It was really stupid, but the both definitely find it hilarious. Plus, you get the place all to yourself. Readers may try this too. Try waiting for the mall to close, look for a nice spot, take a couple of pictures and laugh about it 10 years later. For this, they found a pretty nice place in Sunway Pyramid, the border between the new and old wing, near the ice skating rink. Soo wants to go back there again when they are operating for their food!
